The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly - that went from reception, cleaning staff to waiters and bar staff. Could not fault them. The room was very clean and roomy and the bathroom was exceptional. The views from the balcony were incredible and the silence of the venue was amazing so it was a great nights sleep. Dinner at night was superb with haddock and chips - most amazing piece of thick haddock. Breakfast the next morning was beautifully presented and plenty of it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I will definitely be going again as it was close to some brilliant walking in Cannock Chase and Weston Park. So even if you don't play golf, just stay there for the quiet and there is a leisure resort too but we didn't use that as it was too hot to go into the sauna or steam room!

Lovely quiet location,balcony overlooking the golf course, very peaceful

To be honest on entering the foyer it was almost like a funeral parlour,there was nobody about and just very dirge like background music,the music at breakfast was very much the same,

Breakfast met our needs

Would have liked a swimming pool or hot tub
