Nerida Boutique Hotel

The view from the balcony is just magnificent. The hotel is sitting right above the start of the Lousios gorge, and you can view the gorge and hillside slopes down to the Megalopoli plain (the city itself is framed by two power plants, but they are barely visible, as they are very far away, and the haze dims the view). The hotel and my room were nicely decorated and clean. It takes a short time until the boiler heats the water, but this was never an issue for me (just run the water a bit before taking a shower). Staff was always super friendly and helpful, the owner advised me how to best take a hike through the Lousios gorge (the direct road from the village to the Filosophou monastery was closed). It takes five minutes to walk from the hotel to the town's main street, however it goes steeply uphill. Not a problem for me, though. The town is small, but lovely, with beautiful stone houses, and the main street lined with tavernas, cafes, small shops selling local products, etc. They even have a post office, and an ATM. I parked roadside next to a tree, I believe there is only one real parking slot in front of the hotel entrance (although there might be more on the back side, not sure). I never had a problem finding a free parking lot. I really enjoyed spending two nights in the hotel and the area, I can definitely recommend it.

Just some minor things: - One power outlet next to the bedside table was not working (unfortunately, I used it to charge my cell phone and only realized that it didn't work the next morning). - The balcony doors miss a proper mosquito screen, and a handle on the balcony side, so you can close them. - Ideally, the balconies could have privacy screens on the sides. - The room was quite small, but not too small. - The fridge was a ‘mini bar’, the size is quite limited. - The safe was too small to fit my laptop. - Ideally, there would be more shade for the parking spaces (e.g. canopies).

Great location, beautiful view, comfortable bed

Very comfortable hotel, Beautiful sight from the room. The staff was polite and helpful. Free parking at the place. Very good breakfast.

Getting to the hotel's parking is a bit challenging due to the narrow and steep streets

Établissement moderne construit dans le style du pays. La décoration, le choix des coloris est très réussi. On a apprécié le calme et la vue magnifique sur la gorge du Loussios depuis le bacon attenant.

Rien de particulier si ce n’est la salle de bain petite mais avec tout le confort moderne. Un point d’amélioration serait l’installation de tablettes pour poser les affaires de toilette et des crochets pour suspendre les linges et serviettes.
