Alpenhotel Perner

Amazing Stay at Hotel Perner! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Perner in Obertauern, and I can't say enough good things about this fantastic hotel! I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect – right in the heart of Obertauern, with easy access to the ski slopes. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, offering a cozy and relaxing atmosphere after a long day on the slopes. The wellness area is another highlight – the spa, sauna, and swimming pool were the perfect way to unwind and recharge. The food at Hotel Perner was simply outstanding! Every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The variety and quality of the cuisine exceeded our expectations, and the service was always friendly and attentive. The entire staff at the hotel was exceptional – always helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. They truly go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience for every guest. If you're looking for the perfect ski hotel in Obertauern, look no further than Hotel Perner. I can't wait to return next season! Highly recommended!

We stayed in a Perner 2-bed apartment in the annex next to the hotel. This was beautifully and stylishly decorated, and a had a small kitchenette, sitting area, dining table and balcony with a mountain view. Very comfortable for us. Also great to have an underground parking slot.

The only drawback the whole time there was the rather dreary walk below ground via the underground car park between the annex and the main hotel. Walking across out-of-doors meant crossing snow and ice.

Personnel was excellent, Patrick and Birgit at reception, restorant team also excellent..clean and clear rooms, location in the town, direct on the ski slopes plus we had excellent weather conditions, perfect experience for a family trip

Food was amazing (I definitely recommend booking half board), staff helpful and nice. Lovely waiters Dino and Laura, always friendly. Room was clean, big and comfortable, bathroom as well, I loved the window nook which had the view of the slopes. Wellness was great, a lot of saunas to choose from. I had a massage which was great after a long day of skiing, Katarina, the masseuse, was also really friendly. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will return.

Only thing that was a bit challenging was returning to hotel on skis because of the slope layout, especially when the lifts are not working anymore. But it is only a 2 min walk from the nearest slope, so not a big problem.
