El Dorado Inn

The location was good, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The price as with many hotels in Georgetown are comparable to US prices but the standards unfortunately aren’t the same. I’m not saying that they can afford to improve the standards but the price should be a bit less.

A short walk towards Main Street there are restaurants. The building is quiet. Looks like an old colonial house on the inside. The breakfast is ok. Not a wide variety but enough to get someone started on their day .

There is a bar at the on the first floor but it’s not open. It would have been to have a social space / entertainment.

The room was big and nice. It was a great value for what I paid and the staff was very friendly. we felt like we were treated like family.

The breakfast was great, mainly locally sourced food items, which I loved.

I requested an upper flat room a month before my arrival but got a ground floor room on my arrival. The folks above me were very noisy, running and jumping sometimes way past 3am on many occasions.

The breakfast selection was good. I appreciated that I got exactly what I needed, and the staff was courteous.
