Location, beer garden and the room were all nice.

The leisure facilities. £8 an adult to get in. The sauna was cooler than the steam room. No one used the jacuzzi due to what looked like sand in the bottom of it. And the paint around the pool is flaking away. For charging guests it needs brought up to the standard of the rest of the hotel

Beautiful location with excellent dog friendly facilities , sensible prices for the food and drinks and the most helpful of staff , pleasant , professional and willing to please - Charlie on reception was lovely as was the lady on housekeeping . Disability access was good and we had a gorgeous view of the loch and hills

Nothing really - the young people especially , making their careers in hospitality deserve a pat on the back

The location was brilliant for hiking and scenery. The room was huge, comfy bed and great toiletries by Sense of Arran. That was a nice treat to see. The oniste shop was open early enough for us to get what we needed before hiking. Great options also if you were self catering. Overall, a good stay.

Strange on arrival be given an envelope and that's it. That was all the information given and I think it's nicer to get a general facility overview, any additional charges and opening times. Didn't feel very welcoming but the staff were all friendly. The View restaurant was closed far too early, 8.15pm we were told when we arrived at 8.20, but then take away was available which was an ok alternative but a shame we couldn't sit down to better food instead of fast food. The whole building was roasting, with poor aircon/fan in the room. It was very stuffy.

What a beautiful location and as we got great weather who’d need to go abroad. Perfect place with something for everyone in the family even the dog!
