Drimsynie Estate Hotel

Standard hotel room.

The hotel is practically in the middle of an artifical village. In addition, unfortunately, lots of forestry work is going on in vicinity and significant part of forests is gone - the marked hiking trails go though plains. The offering advertised swimming pool as part of the booking (and was listed on booking confirmation) but it incurred an extra fee. Restaurant staff was not very accommodating despite almost empty restaurant. Menus advertised outside of hotel restaurant did not match real offering.

Unfortunately our room was very hot and the staff couldn't solve effectively. The mirror in the bathroom was heated, it was burning hot when the light was on without possibility to turn it off, and was worsing the situation. Otherwise is a standard place to stay the night.

Very good value, staff were very friendly and professional. Room had everything we wanted, was comfortable and clean. Would recommend the accommodation and would definitely re-book.

Food wasn't the best, so we'd eat elsewhere next time.
