We loved this place because it wasn’t just the typical hotel , Villa De Roshe has such a cozy and charming atmosphere, never have I had a more pleasant staff. Chaminda along with his wife was so polite and helpful and kind, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thanks Mr.Chaminda and the wife for the wonderful care given to us. The room is even nicer than it looks in the photo’s. We had an amazing stay here and we are especially happy with the service from Caminda who managed the hotel. He made sure we were taken care of, had breakfast on our schedule and helped us with our day plans. Such a warm welcome!

Our room was beautiful. The room itself and the bathroom were very large and the balcony views were beautiful. Chaminda was so attentive and friendly, and made us feel at home. He gave us great recommendations of what to do in town and was very helpful overall.

Although the accommodation is close to town, the location was quite tricky for tuk tuks to get to. However, the view was exceptional and Chaminda organised our tuk tuks for our stay so it was never an issue to get a ride into town or back to the accomodation. You can walk into town but it is quite steep and the roads are very uneven.

The people were very friendly and gave their best so thank you for that.

The house needs renovating, it wasn't cozy but rather cold. You need an adapter for charging and only one socket worked. The breakfast was not the best. Had to ask for toilet paper because there was not any when we arrived. The road leading to the property was very steep and in bad condition, however this is not the fault of the hotel.

Friendly host who welcomed us warmly upon arrival with a delicious cup of tea and gave us some helpful advice for exploring Nuwara Eliya. Room is very classy, modern and spacious. Incredible views from the room. Short tuk tuk ride to Nuwara Eliya town. Good value for money.

Some things weren't working in the room. Couldn't get the TV working, bidet didn't function and main light wouldn't turn on. Warm water runs out after a while of showering. Needs a break to produce warm water again. Was surprised that it can be a bit noisy at night. Probably not the most noise proof room as it has a thin roof and the balcony doors don't keep too much sound out either. Didn't sleep the best but maybe that was just an anomaly.
