Hotel Bonavista

Bed is nice. Location is good. The owner is very nice and did help us with the tuktuk. They have a good parkingspot right in front of the hotel.

Hot water run out fast :(

Given 9 due to host. The accommodation was good for one night. There is no air conditioning, but when I asked for a fan, the host was wonderful in getting one for me and ensuring that we we comfortable. No restaurant onsite and a bit far from town, so you will need a driver. Wifi works well.

Great view, great room, great breakfast and super, super friendly hosts. They've driven us to the city center, did our laundry and helped us with everything we needed.

The room had a little smell of the moisture but that is something many rooms in Sri lanka have. And it wasn't so bad that would annoy us.

The hotel is located on top of the hill with excellent view to the sunset and the valley. Tea plantations in 3 mins walking distance. Tea factories in 10 km distance (need a tuk-tuk or car to get there). Super helpful personnel. There is an open space suitable for some events in the open air (if weather allows).

For some reason, the room I was staying at felt like very humid. Water heater in the shower has very low capacity, and hot water ran out rather quickly.
