Nothing that I didn’t like at Bonavista

It was ONLY THE VIEW.

Improper explanation of the services on website and when asked about those missing services example- the website says 24h front desk but the guy was nowhere to be found after 10 am. The profile also says they have a working restaurant but when I was about to order food at 9:30, the guy at front desk says, the chef did not come, this happened on the day of arrival while the front-desk has been in touch with me and he did not inform us about it. Topping it off with how rude the owner spoke with me while I was giving feedback- I simply called him up with the help of the front-desk guy (who was very helpful) and wanted to clarify the difference in price I see in the app and the price he said I owe to the property. And on the call, I told him that I am bit disappointed with the service in a way that the information they claim on their profile is not the full truth, instead he started shouting on me (the front-desk guy heard it all on the speaker) and being rude (front- desk guy heard it all) and said I was complaining and expecting 5-star service while all i asked for was what they claim in their profile. He also threatened me that he will throw my bags out and will call the police. Such places should not be allowed to be listed at all. And the morning we were leaving, i asked for more eggs and he denied at first, saying its not a buffet (which ONLY means the food is self serviced according to him) while the their profile only says its breakfast which obviously means that it is a buffet like other hotels, unless there is explanation. It’s basically 2-3 people managing the so called “hotel”. It more like an AirBnb. Probably Booking.com guys need to be more careful when they are onboarding hotels.
