Hotel Bonavista

Hotel is very clean and staffs are excellent.Manager Sh.Usman is a very well behaved and caring person.

Location is not very good if compared with tariff.

Hotel reformado por dentro con decoración agradable. Habitaciones amplias y limpias, con edredon para el frío de Nuwara Eliya. Desayuno abundante y rico. Baño con mampara, grande y limpio. Tiene secador. Personal agradable.

Algo lejos de la zona centro aunque hay muchos más hoteles. Sin embargo no es mala zona porque se está tranquilo y cerca del lago. Tiene algunas humedades. No es de los más económicos.

De eigenaar heeft er moeite in gestopt om het hotel en de kamers een klassieke look (behang, lampen, zitgedeelte met openhaard) te geven. Vanuit de woonkamer / ontbijt zie de de theeplantages en delen van de stad.

Ik was hier in laagseizoen. Koud, de elektrische verwarming bood te weinig capaciteit. Dikke mist, geen pittoreske uitzicht tijdens het ontbijt. Hoge luchtvochtigheid, dit is niet geschikt voor mij persoonlijk. De andere twee aanwezige gasten waren ook vegetarisch. Dat was niet aan ons gevraagd dus kregen we eerst ei met worstjes. Vervolgens moesten we met enkel toast en marmelade doen en slecht een klein kopje thee/ koffie met extra melk. Voor iemand die heel lang in een restaurant/ hotel in het buitenland had gewerkt had ik meer verwacht.

Despite the weather being cold and quite windy outside, the hotel served as a cozy haven. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, finding the interior comfort and charm made the chilly weather seem irrelevant. The morning brought another treat: the English breakfast. It was absolutely superb! Everything was fresh and delicious, offering the hearty, authentic experience I was hoping for. It was the perfect start to the day. If you’re looking for a quick, unique, and highly enjoyable overnight experience, look no further than Hotel Bonavista. Highly recommend!

Location is little bit difficult to find. Suggest to put a large name plate.

The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect as we expected. It was also a very cool and foggy day, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

The location was perfect as it is very close to Lake Gregory. The Rooms were clean and pretty new. Hotel Manager, Usman was very helpful and supported throughout our stay.
