Philippion

Hotel is located on a very peaceful place with forest around. Free parking is available with always free spaces. We had beautiful sea view from our room. Room was big enough and completely clean and comfortable. Very taste breakfast. For visiting Thessaloniki this is a good option, because this place is not so crowded with cars, but is still close to the city.

We liked so many things. Fom the friendly attentive staff (One of which gave us recommendations, which panned out awesomely, of places to visit when we headed on to Chalkidiki) , to the swimming pool, to the amazing location, the stunning views night & day and to the easy access to almost anywhere in thessaloniki for only €10 by taxi. We were almost put off by the reviews but we're so glad we weren't. The whole experience was amazing!

The hotel is a little tired around the edges. Which is a bit sad. Don't let it put you off though.

The Staff was excellent. The food was delicious. outdoor area for coffee was extremely enjoyable.

Location was good in lush woodland and handy for the periphery motorway

The pool Muzak was horrendous. Loud, inane, and repetitive and went on from 10am till after 6pm. I have stayed at the Phillipion many times but mostly been out. The new management regime seem to be unaware. Even proper music restricted to the pool area would be acceptable but this Muzak reverberating through the entire hotel prevented enjoyment of room balcony.

The staff is very friendly. The garden of the restaurant is very nice.

The hotel is very old. It needs some serious refurbishment. The breakfeast is poor for a 4 star hotel.

Great location in amount the trees and you get to the see the beautiful sunset overlooking the city. Breakfast was also a good variety.
