Butterfly Villas Nusa Ceningan

Really nice view and cottages were Lovell with hot water. Manager Riana was really nice person and helpful. Chef was not there but Riana ordered us food when we needed it. Few nice restaurants in short walking distance. Recommended to rent a scooter. I don't drive a scooter but we managed by walking and when driver picked us up when checked out we took a tour to Blue Lagoon and Mahana Point 🙂

My stay at Butterfly Villa was AMAZING! The staff are beyond helpful and are so accommodating. The view is incredible (make sure to wake up for sunrise)!!! I needed to extend my stay, and they were so accommodating and always made me feel welcomed whenever I arrived back. Honestly, Ceningan has become one of my favourite places and I cannot wait to come back.

Unfortunately, it is on the other side of the island (HOWEVER, worth it for the view), which makes it tricky to get to and from other places... especially since the road to get there isn't great (lots of rock and quite steep). I had a bike accident on my first day in Ceningan so then resorted to walking everywhere, it would take me about 30mins to walk down to the main area of Ceningan. However, this was not an issue for me.

Amazing place with the best view right from the bed. I stayed here twice in the last two months, and during my second visit, the new owner had already made noticeable improvements. The room was clean and cozy, the atmosphere more refined, and the staff were incredibly helpful. A perfect island escape—peaceful, beautiful, and now even better than before.

We really enjoyed our stay at Butterfly Villa. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We woke up late and hadn’t arranged a meal. The staff kindly made us a meal it was absolutely delicious - especially the teriyaki sauce. The pool is super deep and refreshing. There were other guests but we rarely saw each other. Waking up to the view over to Nusa Penida was a privilege. Would happily stay again.
