"Excellent"

The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It is a nice place to stay. It was close to restaurants and to the Fred Meijer Gardens as to that was why I picked it.

Really, just two things. The pool was way too cold and the water pressure was very light.

"Marriott Status Means Nothing Here"

As a longtime Marriott Titanium member, this was hands-down one of the worst experiences Iโ€™ve had at any property. I arrived early around 12pm after a long morning of travel, hoping for a warm welcomeโ€”or at the very least, basic courtesy. Instead, I was met with zero greeting. The front desk agent, wearing a nose ring and AirPods (yes, listening to music while working), simply stated, โ€œNo rooms are ready yet. 3pm.โ€ No โ€œWelcome,โ€ no โ€œThank you for your loyalty,โ€ not even eye contact. Just a cold, dismissive tone that made me feel like an inconvenience. I even mentioned my Titanium status and asked about the usual waitlist/text process for early check-in. He didnโ€™t acknowledge it. No attempt to help, accommodate, or even pretend to care. Completely unacceptable serviceโ€”and not at all what I expect from a Marriott experience. The General Manager needs to do a new hire ASAP.

"Poor customer service"

We have a very poor customer service experience. We stayed for 9 days, and every day we needed to request fresh towels, otherwise, they were never replaced. Sometimes a single request needed multiple reminders before itโ€™s being done or delivered, and usually took at least a day or two. This is the least I would have expected of a business hotel.

"Clean, basically ok older hotel butโ€ฆ"

We were in town for a family gathering and to see a play and chose the Sheraton because theyโ€™re usually a pretty solid choice. This one was quiet and clean tho quite dated with a wonky toilet seat (which they did fix) but they must be short handed because our room wasnโ€™t serviced which was obviously disappointing. Sheets from rooms that were cleaned left piled in the hallway much of the afternoon when we went back to change for the evening. Our room wasnโ€™t done at that point but we figured theyโ€™d be back. Got back about 11pm and they hadnโ€™t, so had to wait until 11:30 pm for someone to bring fresh towels up and no coffee or tea for the morning. Not a great experience. Mentioned it at checkout and the attendant said sheโ€™d let the manager know because we werenโ€™t the only ones apparently. We wouldnโ€™t return to this hotel.
