The rooms were super clean, cosy, and comfortable. The bed linen and bathroom were spotless, and all toiletries were provided. Although the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, the exceptional cleanliness made us overlook this completely. We also appreciated that the heating worked perfectly and could be adjusted, which made the room very comfortable on a chilly evening. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was another big plus, as it allowed us to dry our towels and personal items overnight. Check-in and check-out were both online and very easy. We also highly recommend pre-booking breakfast. At around £9 per person, it was excellent value for money compared to paying the full price later. The pizza and pâté in the restaurant were delicious, and the onion rings were very good. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily return.

The walls in the room could benefit from some repainting and minor cosmetic refurbishment. In the restaurant, the pâté was served with only two small pieces of bread, which was not enough. We had to ask several times for extra bread and waited quite a while to receive it. We did not enjoy the croquettes, as they were very different from traditional Spanish-style croquettes. We also didn’t like the loaded fries with sauces because the sauces tasted too vinegary for our preference. If you’re very hungry, we would recommend ordering main dishes rather than just snacks.

Stayed overnight for Ian Stone at Trinity Theatre😂🫶 Room very clean & confortable albeit small. Breakfast was really good, served by Francoise. Short drive into centre. Car park not very big. A nice stay, thank you!
