lovely location with views of the river Elbe and the mountains. perfect for the ferry, which is free with your guest pass. fantastic hiking area. the hotel has a very good and reasonable restaurant with a good selection of wines etc. we went in April, so the surrounding restaurants were still in winter mode, I suppose. Might be very busy in summer. Note that the trainline with very frequent trains runs rather close, i.e. right next to the hotel. We could hear it when we were having dinner. However, not a problem for us as we were staying in the apartment buildings a few hundred yards away though.

the hotel restaurant was fantastic, however no other food options were available in the village, maybe it was not a busy time of year yet, so many other restaurants were still closed.

Freundlichkeit und Service

Güterverkehr direkt nebenan, aber durch die Lage der Zimmer zur anderen Seite, war es nicht so sehr zu hören.
