The location is nearly picture-perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The general setting of the hotel is sure ideal and hard to compete with on the whole Island. We got an upgrade to the best room (including our own pool) which was really amazing.

It's very expensive in general, but due to the location I guess it's normal. I've payed alot less for 5 star hotels with 2 or 3 Michelin star restaurants in them. The kitchen level is below standard for the price you are charged with. Because of the location you have nearly no alternative without taking a taxi or renting an e-bike (at €100 /day). So the price for the food is very high compared to what you are served. Breakfast is good but basic and there is no variation. If the quality of the food/kitchen would be higher, it would be perfect.

Great location and food (lunch).

Paying 5** prices for a 3* product. House keeping consisted of only making the bed. Never tidied nor sorted the towels. Cleaned the rooms with dirty water so we had to air the room all the time. We told reception but received a very hostile response. Breakfast was limited - when things ran out, they weren’t topped up. Meaning that if you got to breakfast later, most things were gone. Charged us €5 every time we just asked for more water to the room under the guise of room service.
