Village Mango Resort Yala

Village mango resort is one of the best hotels we spent in Sri Lanka. Staff, Food, View, Nature, all are superb. And the best part is the safari tour. The hotel arranged us a tour and we had an unforgettable experience with the safari driver. We saw all the animals in the Yala Safari. Leopards, Elephants, Bears etc. Then we went on a safari tour again. (Morning half and evening half) The driver has a great experience about the jungle and the roads. We went 3 kinds of safari in Sri Lanka and this was the best. I think this is the best place to go on a yala safari tour. Very good & appreciate it!! ❤️

The accommodation is okay just about clean. There were just some cockroaches and ants around, but given the location, it's to be expected. The view is ok.

Disappointing. This is not a resort. I do not recommend booking the safari with them for several reasons: the driver is unpleasant, it's very expensive for the quality and comfort of the vehicle. Also, the safari was supposed to be from 4:30 AM to 12:00 PM, but by 10:30 AM the driver was already heading back. When I pointed out that it wasn't time to leave yet, he just said 'okay' and wasted time driving in circles around the national park until 11:30, without seeing any animals - just fences. In short, don't book the safari with them, you'll be disappointed.

Actually this is a wonderful resort. Situated in middle of a beautiful village. But close to the city also. Hotel's view is very beautiful. Hotel staff treated us very kindly & friendly. Sri lankan food of this hotel is very tasty. The yala safari also very nice wich they arranged.

We had a lovely stay at village mango resort . The rooms are very spacious and super clean,with great facilities. The owner are amazing and super helpful ,we had a lovely dinner here and they arranged a wonderful safari in yala for us. Great spot to stay an for a Yala trip and super comfortable in a lovely garden ..

Good hotel, I can give 10/10. Because the room was very clean, View was awesome, Staff was very helpful, Environment was really good. Sri lankan food was very tasty at this hotel. Safari tour journey was unbelievable. Great experience. Thank u!!

Excellent hotel. The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful. They arranged a safari and It was excellent. I had a good experience. The rooms are very clean. The view is nice with the paddy. Really nice,, Thank you....!!!!
