Village Mango Resort Yala

Lovely staff and comfortable beds. Very clean. Breakfast is huge and they catered for my celiacs. We were welcomed with a lovely fresh juice. Ate dinner here twice and it was very good, home cooked meals. It is a tuk tuk ride from Tissa but the host can easily organise this and we really liked being out of the town a little way. It is peaceful plus they have two dogs Sam and Teddy who are lovely and Cici the cat. Thankyou for being so welcoming and helpful Pubudu and staff. We loved our stay. And the room was massive. One night a firefly suddenly appeared in our room, it was lovely. We helped him outside.

As a local couple first of all I wanted to thank to the owner of this place and pubudu he not just a staff he is very familiar person. and extremely kind and 100% decent person. when I was booked there I was very particular about privacy and protection. so I can 100% guarantee to anyone who like to come there in future. because the place in owner property and their house below us. and 100% safe. and there is no security cameras in rooms. so you ll have 100% best privacy.... and regarding room view is in front of paddy field. and village view so much beautiful. and we had very good breakfast for good price and food is very hygienic. so overall everything is perfect and I forgot to tell. they have hot water as well and in the bathroom wall is very beautiful with snow mountain art. 100% I recommend this place. looks luxurious and safe specially for foreigners. to the Tip. tissamaharayama temple 5min from there

I stayed one night at the property. The family was kind. The family room was big and clean. The property is located closed to a beautiful rice field in a very calm neighborhood (isolated from the center).

The family organized a safari for us but the car was not of a good quality especially given the price that we paid. The car was not comfortable at all with no shock absorber, which is annoying for a safari. Therefore, the driver had to go very slowly. If you travel with a driver, please note that there is no room available for him.

A super quiet and peaceful out of town accommodation, this little guesthouse was more like staying with a local family than a hotel with clean, no frills accomodation. Pubudu and Chania arranged our safari and provided our transfers from Galle and to Ella which made life so easy. We had good food at the Village Mango and the hosts were very attentive. There was a problem with the air con with the room we originally booked and very swiftly we were moved to the larger family room. This was nice as we had a settee and table.

The property is cash only for the room/ transfers/safari/dinner. This isn't a negative but just wanted to highlight this as you may need to get cash out to pay for stuff.

The rooms are as described, they are comfortable and clean.the host is very kind,he can arrange you the safari tours at the best rate ! Trust me ! You can enjoy the view on the field, and have dinner there ! I highly recommend it ! Thank you very much

Everything was perfect

The accommodation was even better than the pictures ! We stayed in the deluxe room with a balcony, and the view of the rice fields was absolutely stunning. The hotel also has a restaurant,and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced.they arranged a safari for us to yala national park, which was a great experience.they offer taxy service for great.we would definitely come back and highly recommend...!!!

Everything was good..

Highly recommend! The host was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable with a beautiful view. And most importantly - they organized a wonderful safari for us. We chose the all day option from 4:30am to 6pm with a private jeep, breakfast, lunch and a wonderful driver who knew exactly how and when to move to show us as much as possible. We saw lots of different animals and birds and even a leopard! Thank you :) Note, although Booking.com shows payment in USD, payment in local currency is preferred
