Hotel Halwachy

I had a really nice stay here. The staff is kind and efficient, the room was large and the bed was comfortable. The shower was also very good – excellent water pressure and it's in a separate cubicle so it doesn't flood the rest of the bathroom. The location is excellent. There are also delicious sweets downstairs. I am very happy I chose this hotel.

This is only a small issue,, but the parking area is on a backstreet without direct access to the hotel (i.e. you have to walk back around to the main reception). However, there was plenty of parking space and it is very easy to access with the car.

the front desk employee were inexperienced and unprofessional at check out they charged the minibar but there is no any price list have been put in the room that refers the minibar is not free , even at check in they didn’t inform me the bathroom door handle was broken

Right on the vibrant Salem Street. Very nice Mandela cafe/Bar by the side. Breakfast was good.

Everything was old, floor carpets definetely needs changing. Overall hotel requires a through renovation. Internet wasn't the best. Hotel doesn't accept credit cards. Elevator is so slow. Useless plastic bags covers on the towels-creating waste.
