TOUT ! ABSOLUMENT TOUT ! Le meilleur endroit que j'ai en Égypte jusqu'à présent. Gentillesse : naturel, souriant, généreux, parfait ! Que ce soit le gérant, son fils, les gens qui l'entourent, génial ! Les lits : confortable ! Propre. Cuisine fonctionnelle. Terrasse incroyable. Eau chaude, de la pression. Pas loin du ferry. Pas loin des lieux d'intérêts à visiter. Des restaurants et supermarchés locaux à côté. Calme (pas réveillé par la mosquée, des coqs ou autre!). Foncez ! 15/10 !

I loved the family, the rooftop, the breakfast.

Memnoun house was a wonderful stay. Very quiet and authentic area away from the hustle. The building itself it stunning, very clean and tidy and beautiful interior. The room i stayed in was huge with living room and kitchen area. The breakfast was amazing, served to you at your time of choice. Omelette, refried-beans, cheese cucumber, tomotoes, falafel water/coffee. Can’t fault anything with the place. Shout out to Mahmoud who was a very nice guy. Privilege to meet. Helped with everything and pick up from ferry and to see all the sights within West bank. A very kind man. Even took me to his farm which was a humbling experience. For the price, it is an amazing place. Perhaps 15 minute walk to central west bank which is doable. Very nice restaurant just outside too. Recommend if you want to get away from the busyness of the centre and close to all the tourist attractions.

Vacances de rêve ? Non, plutôt un sketch tragique. Tout commence par 45 minutes plantés devant la porte, à attendre qu’on daigne nous ouvrir. On aurait presque cru participer à une caméra cachée : aucun accueil, aucune considération, juste nous et nos valises à transpirer. Et quand enfin on entre… quel choc. Un logement délabré, poussière partout, climatisation hors service (idéal en plein été !), meubles usés et un état général qui ferait honte à un squat. Le clou du spectacle ? La fameuse piscine mise en avant sur les photos. Spoiler : elle n’existe pas. Autant vendre un château de princesse sur photo et livrer une cabane de jardin. Résultat : nous n’avons pas tenu plus de 30 minutes avant de fuir, écœurés. Honnêtement, dormir sur un trottoir aurait été plus propre, plus frais et sûrement plus confortable. Cette annonce est une insulte à l’honnêteté et une véritable arnaque touristique. Dommage que Booking n’autorise pas les notes négatives… car ce logement mériterait largement un -10/10. Je vais d’ailleurs leur écrire pour leur suggérer de créer une catégorie spéciale « cauchemars » rien que pour ce type d’arnaque.
