I booked this place 3 times, the house is located in a peaceful place, far from the noise streets and sellers, perfect place for having a rest, the staff will help you with all tour questions, even if you need to know about right prices for some tours you can ask them, i found trust people here the make my staying incredible, and if you wanna try the real Egyptian food, ask to mahmoud he will take you the best place. Here innthis house, nice breakfast, nice view, in front of tou the nile and behind the valley of the kings, it's only 15 minutes walking from the ferry at west bank, you will love the green land around.

This place is located in the most peaceful area. I definitely loved it. My small apartment on the roof has a beautiful view, and mornings are awesome. It's clean and spacious, decorations are tipica of Egypt, the place is perfect and the staff for far the best people, Mamahmoud will help you with everything that you need, they are gonna take of you because, if you're traveling around Egypt, you know how the people can be, but in this place you can trust in him, if you need transportation they will provide it at the right price, if you need food they will bring it, at the right place, in this place forget that feeling to being negotiating and getting tired about it, I'm a solo traveler and I just got nice rest here and everything was handled for them, even I went for shopping and they help me to get the right prices. Heyeand the breakfast is amazing. You're not going to regret choosing this place, you will find kindness people like Mamahmoud and you're gonna feel safe. Also, he knows all the information that as a tourist we need and that is so hard to get from others, he is willing to help you and he speaks very nice English so ...no worries and enjoy Luxor.

no mirror in the room the bed and the pillow were not very comfortable its a bit hidden inside the west bank, so for a solo woman im not sure if its safe

There are not many rooms for the guests and the guesthouse is located in the West bank, so it was always quiet during my stay. If your privacy is important, this place should be good for you. The floor was quite clean as they clean the whole place every day. Also the breakfast on the rooftop was amazing (plus if you are lucky, you can see hot air balloons taking off). Last but not least, I appreciate the host’s hospitality and on arrival Badawy has given me some valuable tips on what to do and what not to do during my trip in Egypt as there are a lot of locals trying to scam foreign tourists.

A few small things - There were no shampoo or soap so you need to bring them with you - No towel hanger in the shower which was a big inconvenient - Wifi was not available on the rooftop, having an extender or repeater would help. - Not about the guesthouse itself, but it is a bit far from the ferry terminal (15-20 mins on foot) and it is dusty on the way as a lot of buildings are under construction and the road is unpaved. If you hire a taxi (which is not expensive) this shouldn’t be an issue, though

The breakfast was exceptional, there was a lot of food and it was prepared and presented well. I took a picture of the breakfast, see below. The owner is good natured and honest. ...something exceptional for Egypt.

The guest house is good, although it could be in a better shape. However, whats special is that the owner and his son Hamdy were of the kindest sort. He is extremely helpful and it's always nice talking to him. Hamdy can arrange a lot of cool things for you or bring you somewhere by motorbike but will never press you. They are all simply good people. Also the other guests were nice. The mood in the guesthouse was always funny and relaxed. The breakfast, including (not only) Omelette, Ful and frech fruit juice, was excellent!!! I would absolutely come back.

Flies and moskitos can be annoying but that is nothing specific to the accomodation, although in fact a net for the windows could be a good idea.

Amazing hosts! It feels like a home stay. Nobody should expect the features of a five star hotel, but the people here try to help you with everything they can, especially Hamdy. Thank you!
