The Crown Hotel

Beautiful room in the heart of Blandford. Warm welcome and great facilities.

Comfortable beds, great powerful shower (though you have to step into a high sided bath). Nice quality full sized toiletries provided plus a good tea/coffee selection. Convenient car park. Had a couple of drinks with good service but didn’t eat there.

Dead leaves & litter in the reception area and a lot of litter down the side of the hotel.

The area

There was a dip in the floor boards, had to be carefully. We were not told our room key fitted the front door, we were outside banging on the door for 10 mins in the rain, till a cleaner heard us.

Wonderful hotel, beautifully decorated with lovely heritage furniture. Cozy lounge, restaurant, bar. Great food, excellent staff. Alongside a nice river walk and local shops.

It was a lovely, if slightly old fashioned but traditional style hotel. Staff were kind and helpful and with a fine breakfast.

Nothing

We had a very nice fish pie here. The space is cozy and the team made us feel welcome, especially Christine who looked after us. We will definitely return.
