Very cool ancient meets modern. Lots of Jane Austin vibes and interesting decor. We had a lovely double fronted room which was huge! Really interesting building and very helpful friendly reception team, thanks!

Maybe the carpets could do with a clean otherwise all good.

Stayed at this great hotel: as part of Hall & Woodhouse got my partners birthday, rooms are well decorated, great breakfast offer with personable staff. Great bar & food, plentiful places to sit in or out. The Crown fest was on with some great local artists. In the centre of the village, half hour drive from the beach, and a 10 minute walk from the Hall & Woodhouse brewery. We will be back to this lovely hotel

Lovely place and very friendly staff. Lovely young girl on the bar.

Enjoyed the breakfast service and food. Only had a couple of meals and bar snacks. All ok Room was comftable and cleaned lovely every day.

Stairs to room, but entirely our fault as we were offered to change before arrival but did not.

Ok...Yes the building is old Grade 2 Georgian Building. However due to the old wooden floor boards you can hear people walking about in the room above and getting in and out of bed, to a point that it can as it did with us keep us awake. Fortunately it wasn't a romantic weekend away for the people in the room above as every roll over and bed moved could be heard as if we were in the same room!.... Spoilt the overhaul experience I'm afraid
