Very reasonably priced. Surprisingly beautiful room. Good food downstairs and we could bring the dog.

No bubble bath for the lovely bath.

The food was excellent, the room was comfortable and the family room arrangement worked well.

The hotel is a bit dated. You don't stay at a place like this for the modern decor but the general appearance of the place internally was a bit tired and could do with a bit of a refresh. This didn't impact our stay but we weren't wowed with what a smart, fresh location it was.

Fabulous location, right in the centre of Blandford. Obviously a very popular venue. On the night we were there people were sat outside enjoying the lovely warm weather, way into the evening. Plenty of parking. There was a delicious variety of breakfast options, and very good coffee. The staff are really lovely. Our room (3) had a huge double, and two narrow singles in another room. Massive bath. Plenty of hot water. Although in town, the room was very quiet as they have cleverly double glazed the old windows to retain the appearance of the building. Would certainly return.

Windows can't be opened, but that seems to be quite usual nowadays.

We stay there on occasions and always enjoy it. It’s dog friendly and a great location.
