Mykonos Kosmoplaz Beach Resort Hotel

O hotel está realmente em frente à praia de Platis Yialos e isso é um plus, dada a beleza da mesma, mas as espreguiçadeiras concessionadas estragam a vista (8/10). As instalações são boas no geral, sobretudo os quartos (8/10) e a piscina (7/10). O staff que serve o pequeno-almoço é muito prestável e simpático (10/10). Na receção há também um rapaz alto e magro que tudo fez para resolver o meu problema de estacionamento gratuito (ele merece um 10/10 pela prontidão e agilidade na solução).

O restante staff da receção não é muito cordial (6/10). As instalações onde servem o pequeno-almoço estão ao nível de um hotel de 2 estrelas (5/10). A qualidade e diversidade do pequeno-almoço está ao nível de um hotel de 3 estrelas (6/10). Para agravar, o chefe da sala onde servem o pequeno-almoço é muitas vezes rude com os clientes (4/10). O ginásio (ou espécie de ginásio) é terrível, visivelmente sujo, com máquinas estragadas, velhas e enferrujadas (3/10).

A localização.

Não gostei do quarto “superior”, pois para além de ser fora do hotel era virado para a estrada! O ponto positivo, foi a limpeza do quarto. Fomos com meia pensão incluída, mas não recomendo. Sem variedade, e muito fast food. Bebidas extremamente caras… os funcionários não eram simpáticos. Efetivamente, apenas a localização e o quarto limpo foram os pontos positivos.

Cordialità dello staff e posizione erano sicuramente la cosa migliore. Colazione varia e abbondante ma non sempre del tutto disponibile.

A parte l’ultimo giorno imbarazzante alle colazioni in quanto mancava quasi tutto, non mi è piaciuto il fatto che nelle foto venivano sponsorizzati oyster bar, cocktail bar ed invece c’era un bazar con di tutto e di più. Anche la palestra, praticamente uno sgabuzzino anche maleodorante e quindi non l’abbiamo considerato per nulla. Inoltre, vero che eravamo avvisati del fatto che il servizio lettino era gestito da altri ma per come era posizionato è una vera e propria trappola che mi ha fregato solo il primo giorno, dopodiché mi sono sempre servito da altri lidi nelle vicinanze e molto più onesti.

Hotel is directly Platis Gialos Beach, which is def great. We opted in for the Deluxe Suite with ‘whirlpool’ and terrace which has a fantastic view on the beach and all the parked yachts. All the room cleaners were super friendly :)

- we paid premium for the ‘whirlpool’ suite, which is not a whirlpool, it’s an outdoor pool with 5 seconds jets on, that only has cold water, as it’s in the shade the whole day - imo completely wrong advertising; they have cheaper pool rooms, with the pool in the sun, but ofc didn’t know that (we booked whirlpool in case the sea water is still too cold as it was preseason, so that was for nothing). Also there were tons of dead insects everyday. Owner claimed the 5 seconds super loud jets is supposed to be that way :) great jacuzzi experience 🙃 - staff: mainly the male staff was not customer-oriented; from owner to breakfast waiter to luggage guy to pool cleaner, all had a condescending tone and/or lack of manners (eg you carry luggage down the stairs and pool guy is just walking up, not giving way and ofc not helping); you don’t feel welcomed by them at all or appreciated for staying there. - accessibility: arrival is underwhelming, as you either need to find your way to the adjoined restaurant in the front or the back gate, there’s no onsite parking, but the parking behind is 12€ a day (you can either walk then through another beachfront restaurant or up and downhill to get back to the hotel); there’s steep steps in the hotel and the elevator doesn’t get u everywhere, so def not accessible at all. - the beach restaurant does not belong to the hotel, so you got to pay for your sun lounger in one of the places front (recommend doing your research there before choosing one) - the pool area is quite small and in the back of the hotel so you gotta walk (wet) through the lobby from the beach to the pool. The pool was milky from day 2-7, the jets are not working - breakfast is a 3star experience, every day same items, some toast, some cold meat cuts, some cheese, tomatoes, egg variations, yoghurt, and if you got lucky the pancake machine produced 2 pancakes; the taste was ok, but again the same choices everyday and when it was full, they ran out of all of it :)
