Motel 6 New Braunfels

The staff was awesome and friendly

The shower was a bit odd The area seemed a bit off but the property itself was fine

Indoor pool right off the highway decent location felt safe. I even accidentally got locked out of my room at three in the morning. And the guy downstairs is exceptional and he got me into my room. It wasn’t the the lock itself after he used the master key, which I figured cause I was able to crack it open. It was the the lockout latch that got stuck. Well once he cracked the door open, he just kicked that shit in but what I did like about the experience was I saw firsthand how easily/hard it can be to actually get into your room without permission. It wouldn’t be a silent process, so that gave me a bigger sense of security. I watch a lot of true crime. And I was running late in the morning and was looking like a mad man no judgment for any of the stuff great place elevator is slow as heck but otherwise,

That I had one of those rooms that had a door connecting the next room. They didn’t tell me that other than that I didn’t necessarily like the lighting because there was no lamps. It was just wall sconces that were the main lights, which were super bright. But I just cover them up with a hat when I only wanted one light to be on.

Property was ok.

People outside looking suspicious.

I had got assigned a room went in there and 2 big roaches were in the room. Called the front desk to let them know and got assigned another room guess what? MORE ROACHES. It was short notice I had no where else to go so I just killed them and hoped when I went to sleep that one wouldn’t crawl on me. Worst stay!!!!

There was roaches the blankets were both dirty it was poorly cleaned just gross all the way around
