Food in the restaurant was fine and the staff were friendly enough. It's not their fault that the hotel rooms were a large disappointment

The hotel was VERY COLD and ran down. The heating did not work and the free standing heaters in the room were broken. Carpets, bathrooms and decor were really shabby. This place needs a huge investment to get it to a satisfactory state.

One night stay only for family business. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pub was charming. Nice food. Donna went the extra mile at breakfast as my mum wasn't feeling great.

Convenience for our onward journey and the free parking. The price was great value. The room was well equipped and the restaurant area was characterful with good food.

A little too close to the road, although our room was at the front, but the road noise went from calming white noise to disturbing sleep. The rooms were large and comfy but the bathroom was a little tired and in need of some updating.
