The secluded place out from city an escape to nature

This is the second time this year we have stayed in this property. It is delightful, well equipped and in good condition. We will not hesitate to return. It is also exceptional value for money. Hand feeding the resident wild parrots in the morning / evening is an unexpected pleasure. No view - but it is in a woodland setting.

This accommodation is exceptional and outstanding value for money. The property is well maintained, secluded and is very well equipped. Somehow the 50-70 year ago ambiance works - the house was only built about 10 - 15years' ago we understand. We met Peter the owner and had a most agreeable chat with him. We are on a 5 week road trip around Australia and this was the best accommodation we have found so far.

I almost do not want to give a review since this place is amazing. The alpacas, the birds, providing birdseed, the incredibly fresh eggs, the location, the extremely nice cottage. All made for such a relaxing weekend getaway that I will never forget. My partner loves birds and the morning feeding really made her trip that much memorable. I really do hope that there will be time in the near future when we can book here again. The outside bathtub is a really nice touch for those brave enough to bathe outdoors.

It is so minor but the kitchen chairs are really hard. Otherwise there is very little that one can say negatively about this place. Be prepared for ants outside everywhere, but I consider that to be part of nature!

Charming cottage nestled in the bush.

I loved the care and attention put into the cottage including the beautiful decor, fresh flowers, photo books and homemade tiles. The alpacas and king parrots were also amazing to meet and feed.

One small critique was that it seemed that you could not use the oven at the same time as the stove (but perhaps that was our own inability to figure it out).
