Pondooks Joglo

Great place! Wayan was an amazing host, very helpful, from arranging the fast boat and taxi to getting our laundry done, she was superb. Beautifully maintained gardens and a large pool with freshly made breakfast everyday was huge bonus. Close to Dream beach, mushroom Bay and sandy bay, with loads of great restaurants very near by. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Pondooks Joglo is a beautiful place to stay. Wayan is an exceptional host who made me feel at home. She was so kind when I was not feeling very well. I was so grateful for her help. The grounds here are lovely with a very large pool and close to cafes. Also a short motor taxi ride to Dream Beach and Devil's Tear. The beds are very comfortable.

Everything was fine. There was nothing to dislike.

Pondooks Joglo was a great place to stay, with only a small number of other villas on the site it made the place feel more private. Also very close to good places to eat! Wayan was super helpful and responsive with booking activities and transport.

Amazing location and great rooms, but it’s the host that makes it perfect. Wayan is wonderful and will go above and beyond to help you make the most of your time.

Bring some earplugs for local dogs and roosters but you’ll have that anywhere you go.

The property, room, and pool are all incredibly clean. Wayan made us a delicious continental breakfast both mornings we were there. She also was so helpful is sending someone to get us from the ferry port when we arrived. Close to 2 beaches and local restaurants.

Super small thing was the pumps for the shampoo and body wash were broken in the shower so we kind of had to scoop it out from the top but honestly everything else was amazing.

4 individual chalets close enough to be friendly and offering privacy too. Lots of beautiful plants shelter and shade each of the rooms. Very good size room with a huge bed - very comfortable with quality bedding. We had great sleeps. A mosquito net gave protection but we didn't find any mosquitos anyway. Good hanging space and shelving to keep clothes tidy. Bedside table with drawers and lamps. Kettle with jug of refillable water. Fridge is stocked with beers, juices and water (charges are listed). Shower room is semi outside - covered and shaded. Shower is good - cool water which is usually here. Hairdryer provided. TV - we didn't use it. Blackout curtains keep out the sunlight. AC is quiet and effective. Balcony with chairs and table (privacy with plants). 8 sunbeds by the beautiful waterfall edge pool - deep, clean and warm with a seating ledge. There is a small, shallow section too. Tables and chairs in front area, with reception for breakfast and socialising. You'll hear birds singing and dive bombing the pool - so lovely. Owner has two, very friendly dogs, but they keep their distance. Absolutely loved being there. Very relaxed. Wayan is a first class hostess. Smiling, friendly and super helpful. She'll help organise whatever you need and want. Lots of restaurants within 10 minutes walking, to suit all tastes. Or hire a bike, buggy, taxi.

Wayan and her husband were absolute gems! As a solo female traveller (who doesn’t drive/ scooter) I wanted somewhere in a good location, that was safe. Pondooks Joglo was certainly that! Wayan was also accommodating in giving me lifts and making sure breakfast was prepared early for when I had full scuba diving days. The facilities and grounds are immaculate and a I will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in NL. Thank you so much !!!

The accommodation was so beautiful, the garden looks amazing and serves as the perfect retreat. Even on the rainy days, it was just so calming to sit on the balcony and listen to it. Wayan, her husband and her daughter were so kind and made me feel very welcomed. I was honestly sad when I had to leave!

There was a really loud animal at night which had me wake up from time to time but in the end that’s nature and you can help yourself with a set of earplugs :)

Friendly host and cozy bungalows. Highly recommend if you want something that feels more like a family driven home stay rather than a big resort. Nice breakfast.

Eveything was as expected, the bed was very comfortable and the pool was larger than it seemed on the photos. The location was also ideal. Wayan is an excellent host that cannarrange everything for very good prices!
