Ty Cnocell

We had a great getaway. We stayed for 2 nights. The hosts were so welcoming, they shown us where everything was, how to use it etc. We had a great communication all throughout the visit. They ensured that the hot tub was ready for us each night. We didn’t expect to find nice welcoming Welsh cakes, eggs and milk on arrival. We went to a few places, our favs were ‘mwat’ beach & ‘Cenarth Falls’. We also went to ‘Poppit Sands’ beach and tried the ‘Ffynone Waterfall’ but unfortunately it was blocked off. We did travel with a dog, the hosts kindly let us use the other mini field because our puppy was overexcited by the donkeys. We would definitely come back here, the donkeys were so friendly! The location was perfect, although you do have to drive 30min most places. There’s no food places that deliver apart from a kebab or fish&chips. We realised on our last day that there’s a Morrisons 4 min drive. There’s also a corner shop pretty much right opposite. We did drive 30 min each way to McDonald’s one of the nights.

It was lovely! Me and my son enjoyed our time here over Christmas. Highlights for us were: Quiet and peaceful, donkeys were adorable and so friendly. Star gazing in the Hot tub in the evenings, which the hosts were happy to set up for us! And to top it off they made us a roast dinner on Christmas Day and brought it to our doorstep, they even sang to us on the way down. Just super lovely people who were more than happy to help at any time. Highly recommend

The cabin is beautiful with a comfy bed and homemade bara brith which was a lovely touch to our stay. The friendly neighbours of donkeys and ducks made our stay even better. The hosts were lovely, answered any questions we had very quickly and were very welcoming. There are shops not far away from the cabin, cooking within the cabin was very easy. We had beautiful weather during our stay which made for beautiful mornings and evenings in the garden. I wouldn’t change a single thing, we had the best time celebrating my birthday here! There is plenty of space to explore the surroundings gardens, there is a giant connect 4 game and a spin ball game as well as a hammock in a lovely quiet area. I wouldn’t change a single thing, we had the best time celebrating my birthday here!

It was our second time returning to the pod. Everything you need is there! Steve and Alison are the best hosts! Will only a text message away if needed but ultimately they do not disturb you at all! Waking up to the 3 donkeys is just amazing! And the little ducks waddling around the failed and their pond! Excellent. Will be returning again in the new year!
