Fabulous little pod with hot tub. Would definitely recommend very peaceful and relaxing. Made special with the added touch of a Happy Birthday banner and not to forget the donkeys who were always there to say hello

The owners were exceptionally welcoming, very polite and friendly , very clean and comfortable stay, the hottub was beautiful, the owners get it ready for whatever time you wish, the decorations received upon arrival were lovely, great location, we had a really lovely time

Steve and Alison are truly among the kindest hosts we've ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care. They gave us a thoughtful tour of the property, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pod, while situated near the main house and rental cottages, is cleverly positioned to offer complete privacy. It overlooks a charming donkey field and, just to the left, a peaceful duck pond—both of which added a magical touch to our experience. The donkeys and ducks were absolutely adorable and brought so much joy to our stay. Inside, the pod is compact but well-equipped with everything a small family might need. We were a family of three—myself, my husband, and our teenage daughter—plus our two small dogs. With the sofa bed extended, space is snug, giving it a cozy, camping-style vibe that we found endearing. What truly elevated our stay were the thoughtful extras provided by Steve and Alison: freshly laid chicken and duck eggs, and the most delicious homemade elderflower cordial. These little touches made us feel so cared for and added a delightful, personal flavor to our holiday. The hot tub was a highlight—especially at night. With minimal light pollution, we were treated to breathtaking views of the moonrise and a sky full of stars. Soaking in the warmth while gazing up at the cosmos was pure bliss. Our holiday was unforgettable. We enjoyed two evening BBQs on Newport Beach, explored the enchanting Picton Castle, hiked to Ffynone Waterfall, and spent a lovely day in Newquay. Everything was within easy reach—usually just a 30-minute drive, never more than an hour. In short, this stay was a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of our return.

Great location/ peaceful and beautiful views

It was a shame we could not stay the second night - but our grandson arrived at 3.30 am on the 1st Aug - so we made the right decision to get on our way. The only thing we could have done with was egg cups for the lovely eggs!

Was our first holiday glamping. All was exceptional. Alison and Steve very welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Feeding the donkeys was great. And the hot tub was perfect. Centrally located. Absolutely ideal

The cabin was exceptional and so was the hot tub, the views are stunning and all can be viewed whilst in the hot tub. A few local pubs nearby with a 10 minute drive, I do recommend "the nags head, only 12 mins drive. Steve the owner is a great and yet a perfect host, nothing is too much trouble for him.

Charming little glamping pod with beautiful views and even some ducks and donkeys for company we really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and feeding the donkeys and we especially loved the wood fired hot tub which Steven kindly heated for us each evening we also had a lovely bbq on the fire pit which was lovely too there was also some basics there for us when we arrived milk etc and even some free range eggs from their chickens which was a lovely touch will definitely return here again in the future

Only a basic corner shop and Morrisons close by but we stopped to do some grocery shopping on the way and got some extra bits at the local shop so was no issue for us but would advise to stock up on what you need on your way so you can relax and make the most of your stay
