Cabinas El Quetzal

Place it’s really great, clean, room is pretty. Such a great place to rest

Nothing so far, I didn’t have any kind of issues at all

Large ptivate cabine close to nature with large balcony facing the mountain. We saw green toucanets from the balcony while having breakfast! Comfortable bed with lots of blankets. Hot water available. Large parking area. No kitchen but tea and coffee machine in the cabine. Don't be too late for check-in as road to get there is a steep and it is not easy to drive at night.

A bit pricy.

Patio with birds and view were awesome.

Beautifully appointed cabins, spotless, comfortable. Great breakfast. Outstanding service. Honestly, exceeded my expectations.

The only bug I can mention has to do with the shower mixer. It was a great challenge to get the water to be the right temperature, and when achieved, for it to remain stable. I brought it up when checking out and the issue was taken with concern interest and assurance that it would be looked into. Which I am certain will be the case.

Excellent place to stay if you’re a birder. We saw the famous quetzal bird in the tree behind the property on both the evening and the next morning of our stay.

We were put in room number 2 which had a poor view of the garden. If you’re interested in seeing birds be sure to request either rooms 3, 4 or 5 - which all have balconies overlooking the garden.

The property was very nice. The staff and everyone were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this property.

A perfect setting by the river....swarms of hummingbirds by the feeders and quetzals a half mile down the road, visible from the road. A well equipped cabin.

Cold at night,but the bed was warm. Hot water was temperamental.
