Ittai Hotel

Staff was nice, place was very clean.

Breakfast was too late, all tourist excursions live at 06:00AM or earlier and breakfast starts only at 06:30, why not antecipated it in one hour?

Seemed overpriced overall. The location was a little way from the centre and the road there was very poorly lit, so I didn't feel safe walking home after dark (although nothing happened). There was a strong bad smell in the bathroom

Everyone was really nice at the hotel and it’s a little outside of town so it wasn’t very loud. Pool was nice but it was a little cold.

It would’ve been great if they told us when I asked, you have to make reservations for everything because they’re trying to protect their environment. So if you go there, figure out what you’re gonna do ahead of time and get Reservations. Especially if you want to go to one of the geysers or lakes It’s a dusty desert, so you have to expect to get a little of that in your hotel room.

The location only.

There was not heating in the common areas of the hotel and neither in any of the rooms. During the evening the temperature goes to 0 degrees and they offer an awful heater that does not work. My family and I felt cold every evening! They offer blankets but they are not enough as floor, bathroom and all the areas of the hotel are super cold.

Location is perfect, a 10 minute walk from the main road with restaurants, bars and shops. Well designed hotel. The hotel staff is really helpful and kind, trying to please all guests - always there at reception when in the need. The breakfast is excellent even though it could be a bit more diverse. The wifi works fine but mostly available at entry hall at reception desk. Rooms are neat, clean and cosy. TV works great with many direct channels available. The pool is nice; temperature of water is just fine even at 19.00pm. Parking places are fine; having a chance to park in shades, under some trees.

If having usual early trip to Geyzers del Tatio (4.30am) or Piedras Rojas (7am) you loose whole breakfast because it is served only as of 7.00am until, I think 10.00 am (breakfast is part of a daily trip package but still one could be already in your bagpack as a reserve). No possibility to get a take-away breakfast prepared earlier. The sanitary conditions (pluming) in room(s) are satisfactory but could be improved. No refrigerators in rooms so if buying bottles of water or some extra food best to find the coolest place in bathroom to store it. Mosquitoes nicely contribute to the eco-atmosphere depending on the season, but you'd better stock up on sprays.

The pool area was very nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. Good free parking lot. The breakfast was OK, nothing fancy but enough options.

Nothing really to complain, just very minor things. The place was a bit difficult to find the first time. The rooms could be quite warm in the beginning of the night, but they cooled down during the night.
