There were no fly screens on windows. Lots of mosquitos attacked me.

It was exceptionally clean. All the rooms look out on to the pool and an attractive seating area. It was also slightly away from the town centre and very peaceful

I would return to this hotel but with the knowledge that the quality of the breakfast was not good, the pool is not heated and the staff are not able to help with taxi bookings or organising trips. It was advertised as having the latter

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel, especially given the high price of $180 per night. For that amount, we expected a level of service, comfort, and quality that simply wasn’t delivered. While the hotel was clean, the entire place felt shabby and poorly maintained. There were broken tiles and various items around the property that clearly needed repair. The pictures online paint a much better picture than reality—what we hoped would be a cozy and welcoming place was anything but. To our dismay, the blankets and towels had visible stains, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one at this price point. We had to ask multiple times just to get a cappuccino, and when it finally came, it was cold. Breakfast was subpar, and the outdoor area was barely cleaned—sometimes only once a day, and not consistently. It was sad to see dry flowers and broken furniture both inside and outside our room. There was no space for luggage in the room, and the wardrobe was far too small for a room meant to accommodate three people. To make matters worse, the walls were paper-thin; we could hear every word from the neighboring rooms, which ruined any sense of peace. On top of that, the jacuzzi was out of order, the floor in the lobby was broken, and despite the promises of welcome drinks, there were none. When we did order drinks, they arrived without proper glasses, which was just one of the many small details that reflected the overall lack of care. All in all, the hotel felt massively overpriced for what it offered. For $180 a night, we expected so much more. It’s impudent to charge that much when the experience is this poor. I would not recommend this hotel, especially considering the steep cost. There are far better options out there for much less.

Very clean. Away from the main drag and quiet. Lovely pool and communal areas.

The breakfast allows you to fuel up but it is nothing special. Also it is slightly annoying to have pop music playing in all the communal areas.

The location was close to the Main Street in San Pedro

It had only gas heaters during the night inside the rooms. For safety reasons you have to turn them off while you sleep. Breakfast didn’t have many options. Only one kind of bread for example
