It was clean and the bed was comfortable

This is a lovely quaint old pub that was full of locals for dinner and entertainment. Although it was very busy, the staff were very helpful and showed us our room, and explained the checkout process straight away. The room was a comfortable old room with a tv and fan. The bathroom facilities were shared, but we were the only ones staying, so that was easy for us. It isn't The Ritz, but for an enjoyable dinner, a comfortable bed, and a lovely old pub experience, I can thoroughly recommend it.

We didn't have any issues staying at the Royal Hotel. Our only minor inconvenience was that breakfast was included, but there was no bread for toast. I'm sure I could have asked for some, but there was plenty of cereal to make up for it

- double bed rooms, very nice with a Telly and mirror - bathroom with shower/ bath! Very comfy - nice personnel

- walls are thin, luckily my neighbor was quite - one ‘kitchen’ (microwave and fridge). - breakfast included: get your own toast and cereal. Nothing laid out or so. Just toast and cereal. - only sitting space (except for the bar) is outside. We wanted to sit inside because we were cold, but there was nowhere to sit.

Friendly service, pizza night was a hit, rustic nature and provision of covered parking for our motorbikes.

Nothing noteworthy.

The staff were excellent, Ann, Faye and Bessy were fantastic and extremely helpful.
