Borrego Springs Motel

Great location. Very quiet. Comfortable room. There is much more to this place than a typical Motel. Outdoor seating areas and a BBQ. Open firpit with seasoned wood. A game room. Much love has been put into this place.

The bathroom door was difficult to close. Needs fixed. The heating system, likely in the attic, was somewhat noisy at night.

It was clean and quiet.

We had a wonderful experience at this motel. The room was charming, clean, convenient, and affordable and the pool was refreshing. The host was accommodating and even recommended that we visit a floral bloom down the road which was spectacular.

Well designed and very considerate. The directions were easy to follow and I could easily get what I needed. Very thoughtful person must be running it, I could tell.

I understand there’s no cleaning in stays less than 5 days. Just needed a cleaning material such as broom so I could clean myself.

Spotless basic motel in great location near restaurants, stores, highways, and the Anza Borrego State Park visitor center. Great firm bed, pretty towels, good coffee maker, pleasant outdoor seating. Two luggage racks (as there should be in a double room, but seldom are) compensated for lack of storage. Welcome cans of seltzer and protein bars made a nice touch.

Hard, heavy pillows. Weak Wi-Fi. No housekeeping. Manager accessible by text and phone, but seldom on site. Appreciated the advance notice of no TV, and didn’t really miss it, but added to the spartan vibe.

It was clean

No TV but I read a book - that was enjoyable Hot water did not initially work and shower curtain fell down.

The location is two blocks from Christmas Circle where the Borrego Days Parade so I could just walk to town. The firepit was nice. It was landscaped very nice.
