Lovely holiday home on a beautiful park. Lovely welcome gift too. Hot tub and Free golf was a hit!

Lodge was lovely so was hot tub nice bottle of prosecco to enjoy as well thanks for your lovely hospitality

Location was good, lodge was clean and well presented.

The beds are a little uncomfortable, only half the jets work on the hot tub and the hot tub could do with a cover or enclosure so it could still be used in the rain. It should also be noted on the website that the bar and restaurant are closed on certain days.

The property was overall nice and clean and inviting, we arrived on the Sunday at 3pm after 9.30pm the electricity went out. I called Adam for emergency who told me trip switch back in beside kitchen outside. Having got the lights back on the sockets wasn’t working, while I message him again I got no correspondence till the next day around 8.30am say fell asleep and take hour. Having had no electricity to the socks means no hot tub was running!! By time he responded I finally got socks back in at 9am. Monday morning was my sons 13th birthday our full day ahead to celebrate but due no electricity to the hot tub it took untill 7pm to finally heat it’s temperature! I was told it heats 1 degree by each hour buy took at least 10hours gain temperature! I asked the owners to refund somehow a discount due to the issues occurred and that he infact didn’t resolve the matter to address the problem quick enough, had the electrics all been sorted on the Sunday night we wouldn’t have got all day Monday with hot tub temperature problems, the temp was sitting at 35 but was cold luke warm water!! Not nice at all to our previous night. As this was our full day and had to leave the next day we don’t get much use which is what we paid for my son’s 13th birthday! Very disappointing in the lack of service to prompt with immediate correspondence .

The lack of getting a hold of anyone for issues and to be resolved with good clear correspondence!

Great for the kids good park onsite and great dog walking. We were at a wedding at linden hall and stayed here instead of at the hall. Much better for kids and better than two days in hotel room plus great value.

No shop on the lodge site nearest shop was a bit of a drive away. But nothing the owner can do about that.
