Tranquil Lodge hot tub and free golf

The hot tub was great, serviced by experts each day. Lovely, warm rooms and hot shower.

The kitchen/eating utensils were poor and not clean. Only 3 folks and odd glasses. The washing machine wasn't working unable to open the door, no tea towel, very nearly empty washing soap etc. Luckily we could use our camper van equipment. The cooker hood was damaged. Towels and sheets had been washed but did have stains on them.

The hot tub ,the lodge felt homely and was nicely decorated .wine and biscuits were left out for our arrival .very private and secluded place

washing machine door was broken so we couldn’t wash our muddy clothing due to us walking the the pub on site which you could only access by walking through muddy paths and fields .also the electricity was off on the whole site for 2 hours on our second night so we had to sit in the dark .

Good location very peaceful

Lodge needed checking before customers arrive lights did not work in hallway curtain rod hanging down decking very slippery and dangerous hot tub excellent

The owners of this log cabin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home with a basket of wine, biscuits and goodies on arrival, a Christmas tree and decorations up. This log cabin was so nice and had been decorated beautifully. Hot tub was perfect and staff came and cleaned it daily. The staff also came and took us along to the bari bar and collected us on a golf buggy to save getting all muddy walking along. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

liked the quietness of the area

firstly booking . com have not updated the previous lodge address to its new address . even though I booked on Booking.com. the address is old also the glassware and cutlery was dirty and had food stuck too a lot of glasses also the cooker hood didn’t work and was thick with grease inside and out also lightbulbs not working in kitchen the decking is like an ice rink. really needs a clean
