Shivas Gateway

I arrived at midnight and the check-in was smooth. I paid by card. Breakfast was nice, coffee was good. Room was huge, way bigger than I expected.

I tried to get in contact with them before my arrival to get me a safe ride to the hotel but in the email communication they didnt understand what i meant. Got Uber then, was nice and safe and just 15min from the airport.

We reserved two rooms through booking.com, and both the booking confirmation from booking.com and Shivas Gateway indicated that each room could accommodate up to two adults. However, upon arriving at the hotel, the staff did not mention any issues until we completed the payment and received the keys. At that point, they informed us that their system only allowed for one adult per room, meaning that only two adults could stay in the two rooms. For any additional persons, they demanded extra payment. Despite discussing and presenting the confirmation message from Shivas Gateway, they insisted that they had no control over the message and that it was sent by booking.com. Having travelled for about 10 hours and needing only a brief 4 to 5-hour stay before our flight, we reluctantly paid the additional fees they requested in order to rest. This experience was extremely disappointing; it felt like we were being deceived by the staff.

I had booked the hotel with genius account offer for free break fast. Hotel denied to offer it. Booking.com also talked to them and still did not accept. Looks like it is an error from booking.com also.
