Wood burner needs glass door resealing to prevent smoke entering room upon lighting from cold

The fire was definitely the best bit

The shower wasn’t as great as we’d of hoped

Nice cosy, quiet spot. Wood burning stove and plentiful logs were a real boon.

The log burner, the location, the communication before and during our stay. The bed was so comfortable, the whole place was very well equipped and it is dog friendly… Yay!

The stairs. The property is dog friendly but the stairs are barely human friendly, let alone being suitable for our fur baby. She usually sleeps, in her own bed, at the foot of our bed & was very confused when we had to leave her downstairs. I think there should be some acknowledgment about the very challenging stairs and (5ft 4) bedroom ceiling height before booking.

The property was located in a quiet block, nice and cozy outside. Fabulous fireplace, abundance of wood, everything worked as expected.

the sleeping space had a large wet spot on the floor with a strong smell of urine. Must have been a dog or another animal. Either way, ruined our stay with the stench, completely.
