disappointing experience : unfriendly staff, poor service, and overpriced, underwhelming food. 1. The staff were unfriendly and unaccommodating. They seemed frustrated by a lack of staff and equipment, and almost every request was met with “no”, whether it was for a simple cocktail, a band-aid, or arriving five minutes early for breakfast. 2. The food was mediocre at best and outrageously expensive. We spent £250 on an average lamb dish and a single scallop. We were really saddened to have ended our stay with such a poor experience.
