Probably the most comfortable bed that I ever had in a hostel!

The beautiful hotel was right off a main avenue in town. I loved the colorful decor, my room was spotlessly clean and well serviced each day of my stay. I was super impressed with the website and list of activities that both the B&B hosted, as well as a calendar of activities of events taking place in San Miguel. I felt super safe, and felt cozy and right at home in the property. It was so peaceful and quiet on the property, and I heard no outside noise during my stay. I loved all the hammocks and outdoor space and wish I had more time to just hang out at the property!

I wish there was a full length mirror if not in my room, then somewhere in the shared space of the hotel. The other thing I'd change is the automatic scent thing in the bathroom. It made me sick and exasperated an ear infection I had coming on. It went off entirely too frequently, the smell was way too strong and it kept me up at night, which otherwise would have been an amazing peaceful stay. Many people have allergies, and are sensitive to things like that. I'd really recommend removing them and providing a manual bathroom spray if you felt that was important.

Staff was helpful in assisting me to find things to do. Water was hot and wifi was good. Loved the hammocks on the roof!

I stay next to the bar and at night there were a loud noise from some machine at the bar area which I am not sure what kind of machine but it quite a loud noise through the night. For me I am not a light sleeper so I am okay with that.

Lovely casa，super good location, close to the historic center and not need to climb up on the hill to reach the place. Sam is a warm host who makes you feel like home. The casa is very clean. It is winter already gets very cold at the evening but there are enough blanket to use so no worry.

Maybe the only thing is the shower at female dorm is very small and weak. And I notice there is no air conditioner at the female dorm so guess it can be a bit hot at summer in the room.

The owner was so kind and spoke great English which made check in extremely convenient for us. It was easy getting all settled and he showed us all the amenities available to us as well. Just all around an amazing host and showed us several options for booking a taxi back to our airport the next day.

Loved everything! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The host is super super nice

We spent 6 nights at Meson Amelia. We were greeted at the door by the host Sam, who throughout proved to be a thoroughly brilliant host and an excellent cook. The hotel is brightly colored and feels really cozy. Everything is clean and tidy. We can highly recommend this place. We would love to come back.
