There is no heater in the room. Breakfast is very basic and staff seems absent. Overall a very pricey but basic hostel.

Super cute paintings everywhere and the room had everything you’d need for a stay. The showers were amazing, everything was super clean, and Sam was awesome

Highly recommend this place, don’t hesitate! The owner, Sam, is one of a kind — he goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at home. The place is beautiful in a quiet street close enough to the action but far enough away that you can get a good night sleep. Breakfast is delicious; the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. You get a lot of value for your stay here. Book this place and you won’t regret it! Huge thank you to Sam for everything!

Peaceful and quiet hostel. Very friendly owner. The hostel is at a central and safe, quiet neighborhood. From my understanding it's the only hostel in San Miguel de Allende. Towels provided. Also free water refill. Breakfast was great. The patio is very nice to relax or have a chat with others.

There is hardly any space in the female dormroom to put your luggage. Very few hooks on the walls to hang your clothes or towels either which was so inconvenient. Please put more hooks! The window in the room doesn't open (only small bathroom window), so hardly any fresh air coming in with four people in the room. Bunkbeds have no curtains and if you have the lower bunkbed, you cannot sit up straight as the upper bed is very low. It can be very noisy as rooms are next to the patio where people come and go so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Breakfast was included in the price, but for me not necessary and a bit of a waste of money as there were two days I left very early to go on daytrips. I would rather prefer an option where guests only pay for accommodation.

Staff was friendly and gave me an overview of the city and activities available in town and in the hostel. The morning breakfast was delicious and there was always someone available if I had needed something.
