The Haven Lodge with Hot Tub

Nice and spacious.

Hot tub had a layer of scum all the way round the tub. Cabins near by did not stick to the ‘quiet time’ and had loud music and arguing till gone 2am. One resident appeared to call ‘security’ at one point to get them to come sort out a cabin that was unruly.

Very clean and lots of space

Beds were very comfortable, lodge itself was beautiful, staff were friendly although didn't have much interaction with them just due to not needing them.

On arrival half an hour after we were expected to arrive we couldn't access the lodge as they didn't have a note to say it had been cleaned. They then gave us the keys and on entering we found out it probably still hadn't been. There was a used teabag on kitchen floor, toothpaste on sink in main bathroom, hairs on the toilet and shower, some sort of gunky caramel looking thing on throw in the room with en suite, food still on table on decking and the oven tray was full of burnt on food. It was a shame as the lodge was beautiful just quite obviously not cleaned properly at all. The washing up liquid was also empty which meant we had to purchase our own to be able to actually clean before we used things.
