Staff were very helpful and polite!

The Schoolhouse is outstanding, very central, clean and modern, with kind management and staff (one of them gave me a lift to the Amtrak station). As part of a former school, my room had a huge window and generous height. The rooms are fully automated, so suitable for guests with special needs. I would certainly stay again.

There are some good food choices, but I would have liked more (and more conventional) choices for breakfast, including cereals as well as omelettes.

Great concept in the heart of the town

When we arrived our door would not lock- the front desk was going to have Maint drive an hour - we suggested changing rooms so he didn’t have to come on day off. Next morning he was banging on broken lock at 7:30am while we tried to sleep - a little courtesy would have gone a long way. Frustrating

It was adorable how they turned am old school into a hotel. And all the technology in the room was amazing

The bed was low to the floor

Clean inside and out

No water or snacks available. Waitress in the morning was rude and I had to actually go into the kitchen after 15 minutes to see where were the servers. She was talking to another person and said she was busy folding napkins. I said there's 6 couples sitting there and waiting for service. She finally came out and intentionally filled both my wife's and my water glasses to the top. We would spill them if we picked them up to drink. We walked out in disgust. Not a good visit for us. Wouldn't go back and advise others not to go there. No way to contact the front desk also.
