Location and the concept of renovating a school.

The bed, lack of furniture in the room, no refrigerator, the controls for everything were not intuitive, the shower ( no shelf, no drain, floor was coming apart) very noisy ( guests above us could be heard just walking around)

Interesting building. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect to pop over to the Greenbriar for a wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was very clean. The totally automated room was ok once I figured it all out.

The sheets were coarse which was pretty uncomfortable. The handheld showerhead was either inoperable or broken. I could not get used to the lid of the toilet automatically rising when you entered the bathroom - maybe it's a little too sensitive. The room was quite small with no dresser, very European/minimalist looking. Definitely not worth the price, but I suppose they can charge that being that it's half the price of the Greenbriar and there are not a lot of choices.

Staff and location.

Not all of the technology was working. AC worked intermittently.

The Restaurant food was excellent

In the room we had there was no closet , no place to hang your clothes

There was no breakfast until 9 am. My husband participated in a bike event out of the hotel and there was nothing offered but coffee. He drove out to 64 to find something g to eat.

The lack of breakfast and there were no cups or ice available except out of the bar or rooftop bar.

Great facility in converted school building; walking distance to Doreen White Sulphur Springs

A little too high tech in rooms but overall ok; suggest they add a reading light beside bed.
