Very nice place and kind people! Living in the island sometimes means even share the room with insects, but the room was clean and very confy! The personal little swimming pool is amazing! The staff is super lovely and always ready to help or give suggests! Next time I come without my girlfriend and I marry you all...

Too many insects

I did not stay at the rooms listed on Booking.com. I was moved to rooms located on the beach so this is a review of that experience. The location on the beach is awesome. The host was excellent in taking care of me and offering and arranging activities. Meals on the property were very nice.

Power on this beach goes out frequently. That is typical of the area.

Marlin (the owner) is a great host. She will move heaven and earth to meet your needs. Such a kind soul. Her big network on the island will make your stay ever better, helping organize trips etc. Breakfast is made every morning by Elise. She will ask you what you want to eat and at what time. Her omelet and banana pancakes are delicious. Overall this place is great and will make you want to stay longer. Enjoy the 20seconds walk the mesmerizing Pasir Panjang.

Highest standards of hospitality and customer service. Organisation wise, everything here works like a Swiss watch - airport pickup, meals, organisation of day trips, scooter rental, etc Local advice and communication in general are excellent etc. Fantastic service from Marlin and her hard-working team, excellent value for money and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world at your doorstep.

The feeling to be in paradise is unbelievable. Endless white beaches, friendly and helpful people. Our host Marlin was amazing. She arranged everything with a smile, scooter, boat trip, car to the airport, etc. At 100 meter from Mercy Cottage / Noel Cottage is a very good restaurant: Ten Cafe, try it yourself!

Walk of 3 minutes to the beautiful beach. Great breakfast.. omelette and fresh fruit/coffee. Great bed. Clean Great aircon 2 places to eat looking at beautiful views. Owner and staff a pleasure in itself. Organised my taxi to airport. It’s not luxury accommodation..but for the price the experience in value overall was.

No hot water, though I didn’t need.

Two bungaloes with quite unique design at the Ngurbloat beach 50 meters from the sea. There is a tiny swimming pool in the backyard, definitely not for swimming, but can dip your feet in a cool water and chill with a can of beer in the evening. Spent a week there and felt like home. Merlin, very nice and accommodating host, explained everything about the island and helped to arrange all the activities including airport transfer, scooter and mask/snorkel rent, boat trips to Pulau Baer and Ngurtavur. There is a kitchen at the front yard and a table to enjoy breakfast of nasi goreng or banana pancakes and proper dinner of chicken or fish in the evening, also local speciality fried bananas (pisang goreng). Wonderful Ms Elis is in charge of the kitchen and the person can ask to tidy up the room, she speaks English and was always present at the property.

The host, Marlene, is incredibly nice, always ready to help, very communicative, and pointed a few spots on Kei Kecil that we could visit. Elis prepared us delicious meals and is such a sweet lady. We felt like home.

Not really a bad thing (it's part of the environment), but remember to bring repellent as there are mosquitoes at dusk and night.

Comfortable bed and good A/C. The room design is original and there are only 2 rooms so calm. Breafast was served every morning in small eating area by non -english speaking staff. The owners that I saw a few times were very nice & accomodating. Location is excellent ... just 200 m from the beautiful beach and sea. The small restaurant on the beach to the left serves excellent meals at fair prices and you can also rent a scooter to explore

Only cold water in shower. In the back of the room was a private mini pool but it was so filthy that you don't feel like taking a dip. When they showed me the room, a small wayer fountain was running which I liked but afterwards the on/off valve did not turn it on again. To be fair, I never spoke about this to the owners (who speak English) so perhaps yhey could have fixed the pool, watergall and perjaps hot water ... But I only spent time here to sleep at night because I was away every day.
