Most fabulous stay and people. They were so hospitable and treated us like family. The rooms and property were impeccably clean, and so thought out. The attention to detail in the rooms, breakfast, and overall stay were unmatched. Would recommend this place to everyone!! Please please please stay here! Also 2 min drive from the grocery store.

"Divine accommodation in the Douro"

We loved everything about our stay at Casal dos Capelinhos. The property was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were so wonderful, friendly and helpful. You can opt to do a wine tasting (there are a few options available), which we also did. Pedro spent so much time with us with such a great explanation of Douro valley wines. The food available at the Quinta is some of the best I have eaten in Portugal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We sincerely had a fantastic time at this amazing place. taking hospitality to the next level and even outside the perimeter of their property ( eg taxi, wine tasting tour etc). Owner and friendly team is really putting their heart and soul into this project.

An absolutely extraordinary experience! The property is beautiful, with carefully tended gardens and breathtaking views. The rooms are comfortable, impeccably kept and decorated with simple, inviting taste. Breakfast is a particular highlight: fresh local products, homemade cakes, all served with a smile. The kindness and hospitality of the hosts made all the difference, we felt truly welcome. Undoubtedly, an experience to repeat :)

"Exceptional"

Great location just a bit away from the Douro river, a small private guesthouse at the winemaker. Perdo and his team are really committed and you can see it in all details, reception, the room, breakfast and dinner settings. We had a really presonal and warm experience with lots of chats and stories about the region, wines, places to visit etc. Strongly recommend !

Stunning attention to detail. Beautiful interiors and magnificent garden. Pool excellent. The linen on the beds was best ever. Breakfast was fantastic. Owners were delightful and could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
