Nice view at the pool and the breakfast and food was really good.

Hotel location is a bit far away from Ella, the mentioned distance from Ella city is wrong on the booking.com and it's about 9km away from the Ella city. The road is little bumpy and can't reach the hotel from a car.

The view is amazing, The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The road to the accommodation is absolutely terrible. It takes at least half an hour to travel from Ella town to the property, even though the distance isn't that far. Because of the poor condition of the road, tuk-tuk drivers charge high fares, so you'll end up spending a lot of money on transportation.

The property is secluded and offers nice views. Staff is attentive and very friendly.

- Very far from Ella - not worth the high price tag - bathroom smelled bad - wifi is slow and needed to be reset various times - pool very inconveniently located on the top of the hill (very steep stairs to climb up). - the “villa” we had is not isolated and you hear everything. Also, the roofs are infested with squirrels/rats that won’t let you sleep.

I loved the beautiful surrounding, the fabulous outside eating area, stunning, variety of tasty local delights for breakfasts. Absolutely fabulous manager and staff. Fantastic chef, best breakfast eaten in the 4 hotels we stayed in in Shri Lanka. Gorgeous, beautiful big room and balcony and bathroom! Stunning garden and pool.

The last 10 min drive is bumpy, gravel road. Message the manager at the turn off and the Tuk Tuk will fetch u free of charge. We stayed 3 nights so WE GOT USED to used to the bumpy ride. Felt like a go cart ride and was fun in the end.

Nothing.

1. The pictures are deceptive. Probably photoshopped. It doesn’t look this clean at all. + the interior sucks big time. The curtains were dirty and mismatched. The bean bags in the room were in a hideous state. Ants & other insects crawling everywhere in the room. 2. The pool side is 20 stairs up where there is nothing. No chairs, shade nothing. Just a pool with muddy areas around. 3. The location is very bad. The last 2KM to the hotel is broken road that literally damage a car. No lights or direction. Building a hotel shouldn’t be allowed before the road is fixed. 4. The breakfast is scarce like they are trying to help us into a diet or something. The quantity and options aren’t even enough for little kids. And then they tried to charge me extra for 2 boiled eggs? Wow.

Property is really nice, caretaker and staff is so supportive.

Food, management and view from the property

Everything was very satisfying starting from the welcoming drink to the people and the amazing swimming pool.

We can not decide what our favorite was: the super helpful and caring staff, the stunning view on the waterfall during breakfast or the beautiful and lush nature surrounding us. Probably everything. Thank you very much for making our stay unforgettable. We will come back!
