The room sizes were good. Staff is friendly and everything in total is good. The pool view is amazing. The hotel is quiet and looks beautiful at night.

The location given at Booking.com is wrong. The location is actually far from the main city around 9kms away whereas in booking.com it shows its less. The road to the hotel is very rough which needs to be worked upon.

Very friendly staff and great location with stunning views. Chinthaka and team was extremely supportive and even offered an early check in and late checkout including baggage drop off. The infinity pool with the best mountain view was amazing. Food was delicious and a perfect addition to the great experience. Getting there was a bit difficult due to the condition of the road, however it was worth the effort once we got there.

The bathroom had a bad odour on our arrival and the towels weren’t perfectly clean. Felt like the toiletries weren’t replaced.

Too far from Ella. Expensive

This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Right after booking, I received an automated email warning that the last 1.5 km to the property was rough and should be approached cautiously. However, the rough patch was actually over 2 km and far more treacherous than suggested. If you value your vehicle, especially the undercarriage, I strongly advise against attempting the drive. Instead of a vague automated note, the hosts should provide actual photos of the road so guests know what to expect. We had originally planned a two-night stay, but the journey itself was such a letdown that we no longer felt comfortable staying. We requested a partial refund, explaining our dissatisfaction and the misleading information, but the hosts were unwilling to even consider a reasonable 50% refund. Cleanliness was another major issue. The bedsheets had visible stains, and we had to ask for replacements upon arrival. The infrastructure of the room and bathroom is completely unsuitable for children or elderly guests. There are steep stairs inside the bathroom—from the shower area to the entrance—which are not only impractical but downright unsafe. It’s a hazard for anyone, especially kids or seniors. In the end, we stayed just one night out of necessity since it was too late to find another place. We left first thing in the morning, feeling frustrated and disappointed, having wasted both time and money. To make matters worse, when it came time to settle the bill, they charged us separately for basic amenities like water bottles—despite these being listed as included in the price on our Booking.com reservation. After everything we had been through, they still found a way to squeeze more money out of us, which felt incredibly unfair and unprofessional. In short, I wouldn’t recommend this property for any reason. Poor communication, unsafe infrastructure, misleading pricing, and zero accountability made this a truly awful experience.

Off the beaten track but still close enough to Ella. The Sri Lanka food is good and there is another restaurant 2 minutes walk away which also serves local food.

Quiet and in the jungle. Nice design and the staff were lovely. The tuktuk will collect you from the main road as the 1.5km road to Dolpe is rough.

The host was very gracious and polite. The actual site is within lush gardens and pleasant enough.. Breakfast was the highlight .

The track is as bad as others have said. The pool is halfway up a mountain from the villas. I was slightly mollified when I reached the top of the many steps to find a bar, then gutted to see it closed. The rooms are not in great order, they smell damp and are very basic for the price. I dont like to be uncomplimentary, but it could be much better.
